CBSE

CBSE is a reputed educational board, which provides standard school education along with a holistic learning environment to all students by imparting comprehensive syllabus in the right manner. The board conducts research and based on that it designs each syllabus.

Opting for a CBSE school has its own share of pros, and the biggest advantage is that all major competitive examinations in India are based on the CBSE syllabus. These exams include the Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE), the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) and the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT). The CBSE syllabus is easier when compared to that of other boards, mainly due to having fewer subjects and a more compact structure. A certificate from the Central Board of Education is recognized throughout the country, in all colleges and academic centers. At SVIS we instill values through an integrated curricular approach. We emphasize the proficiency of the learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills in a  given discipline of learning. We develop a variety of thinking levels for a given concept. We facilitate the learners to think intelligently and efficiently and develop skills of discrimination, differentiation, analysis, comprehension and synthesis. We develop students in creative and critical thinking and to apply concepts across discipline through an interdisciplinary approach.

The role of the school is to nurture students in such a way that each individual is encouraged to explore and develop their inner potential bestowed upon them. The Chairman’s innovation has been to embrace a sound, multi-discipline curriculum supported by the right tools and exceptional teaching methods. After almost couple of decades of proven success, Vidyanikethan’s methods can simply be referred to as the “Vidyanikethan tradition.”

Our dedicated staff and other trained versatile educationists truly focus on building the academic atmosphere and resources to support each student to realize their dream. Our ambitious plans and effective strategies have proved their worth in unfolding the areas of curricular and co-curricular areas.

With the constant individual care and attention the students are given, they are at the receiving end of the grace of the vibrant campus and benefit of the diversity Vidyanikethan thrives in.

The school is academically comprehensive and genuinely co-educational. The students invariably picked from all over the world with an unbiased choice from a diverse range of backgrounds, making the school become an abode of multi-cultural and plural society of an international composition and infinite characters. We are responsible for their transition right from their childhood to adolescence and we consider it our prime responsibility to contribute the vitals in the growth and evolution.

Nevertheless, in every crucial stage of the pupil’s growth and development, our approach remains the same: to provide each individual ample scope and encouragement to bring out the best in him or her and upon their completion of education, tackle the world and life challenges that will be thrown to them in every stage of life. The transformation is huge, and so is our solution!

The School closes for a short break for Dussehra and gives two long breaks in winter and summer. However, students appearing for the Board Exams will have special classes during the vacations. The exact dates of Dusshera, winter, and summer breaks are listed every year in the school calendar of events and are subject to change. The year planner duly listed for every year is available on the website, giving an insight on the holidays and events to be held in that academic period.
